Welcome! I am originally from Rosenberg, Texas, an alumni of Lamar Consolidated High School, class of 2000! I attended Texas State University in San Marcos and graduated in December 2004. Upon completing my Bachelor's of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies I began my teaching career in Lamar CISD, where I worked for 7 years and accomplished my M. Ed in Education Administration with the University of Houston-Victoria in May 2011. In 2011 we moved to Austin with my husband and Labrador Allie. I taught at Menchaca Elementary as a Mighty Mustang for 4 years. Now I'm on my 16th year of teaching, 5th year as a Walnut Spring's Tiger! In my spare time I enjoy loves to reading, running and spend quality time with family and friends!
